Nintendo launches new “Game Trials” programme, exclusively for Nintendo Online membership owners.

When Nintendo announced their own take on online memberships, not everyone was happy. The service, even if cheap, didn’t offer much more than what we already had for free: no messaging, no achievements, only a handful of to NES games to barely justify the price.
Nintendo promised to keep adding content to their offer tho and one of their new and most recent addition is the new Game Trials programme.
Starting with Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker in Japan and Mario Tennis Aces for Europe and North America, Nintendo will let you try a selection of games in its entirety, completely free of charge for a whole week. Or at least we assume so, given the connotation “programme” which implies a recurring event.
For the duration of the event the selected games will be on sale for 33% off their original prices and trial version’s save data will be transferred to the purchased copy.

Mario Tennis Aces trial version will be available from the 7th until the 13th of august on the Nintendo E-shop.

Can we expect more trial versions of games to come to our Nintendo Switch in the future?
